A Non-Residential Gathering in Langho, Near Whalley
Mystics focus on the heart because they know it is the centre of the being that controls the mind and all its vehicles, including the physical body. All mysteries belong to the heart though the heart knows no mysteries. This is because the heart is the seat of true understanding. Bright but hidden, the Real Self dwells in the heart.
After the success of the gathering last August and the many requests from participants to offer similar events using the same format, we are really pleased to be able to welcome you again to Langho.
This weekend gathering is another opportunity for you to explore the sacred space of your own heart sphere and to gain an increased capacity for life in the heart. We will experience in a focused way some of the practices and techniques for the re-tuning of heart, mind and body that have been found by mystics to be the most effective.
Our practices will be drawn from the Yogic, Tantric, Buddhist, Christian and Sufi traditions. They will be mostly simple and accessible practices using breath, mantra, kirtan singing, meditation, heart awareness and focus of mind so that we can bring a greater sense of harmony and balance to all aspects of our being. Spaciousness will be an underlying theme.
This is not a dance weekend.
Lunches will be on the basis of Food to Share. Do bring along something delicious to share together for both days..
